Dom Lucien Fromage was a priest of the diocese of Sees entered Solesmes shortly after his ordination. He was professed on May 8th 1870 which was his 25th birthday.
Dom Guéranger, recognised his talent and made him his collaborator in his various works.
After the death of Abbot Gueranger in 1875 Dom Fromage continued his work on the Liturgical Year and he published the six volumes of Time after Pentecost.
Dom Fromage was Sub-Prior from 1894 to 1908, he was also master of ceremonies for forty-two years. He died on February 2nd 1916.
